As far as we know we only have one shot at life on
Earth, so we really can’t waste our time trying to please everyone else.
Otherwise we are going to spend our life in misery. I really like some of
Musgrave’s songs, especially Merry Go Round because it seems she is not afraid
to be honest about who she is and what her thoughts are. If appropriate, I
think it is best to live your life the way you want to. If you don’t then what you bottle up inside
will fester inside you and you lose who you are.
