Penny Dreadful “What Death Can Join Together”
I wish with all my heart that we all had our happy
ending; that we could fly through life without having to experience pain and
loss. Reality is cruel and difficult and it does not care about happy endings.
Penny Dreadful is definitely not a show that sugar coats reality. This show
exemplifies pain and the flaws in humanity and is not afraid to show the worst
in people. Despite its grim content, this show still has glimmers of hope in
that the characters slowly learn to trust each other and to stand together.
