Whether we are religious, we believe in fate, or we believe in science, we sometimes look to outside sources as being a force in what happens to us. However, sometimes we end up being that source. We just need to give ourselves more credit and more confidence. We have the ability to be great, we just often don’t believe it enough. I think that is why the character god, in this movie, told Bruce to be the miracle.

This ties in with the quote from Doctor Who yesterday. Just as we take for granted the time we are given, we also take for granted the people that are most important to us. Whether these people may be family, friends, or loved ones, we must always appreciate every moment we have with them because we never know when they will be taken away from us. The character of Balthazar knew this lesson well because of his relationship with a woman that was taken away from him.

With so many days in an average lifetime, it is hard to remember that today can be our last day. Which is why it is important to make the most out of each day and to never have regrets. Although I can’t understand her decision to quit traveling with the Doctor, I do have to give Martha Jones credit for not continuing to do something that made her upset or uncomfortable.

If anyone can talk about touching the sky, it seems like Kelly Clarkson would be the person. Her career took a gigantic leap after American Idol. From what I can tell, it seems like she is a very humble and down to earth person, which is why I like her and her songs so much. Her songs seem to encourage people to break away from the things that hold them down, which is good advice, in my opinion.

 

 

Setbacks in Life

Hey, life is full of setbacks. Look at me, I'm a snowdrift with arms! You can give up or you can keep firing the puck.

Although we may not all be the spirit of a father who comes back to life as a snowman like the main character Jack Frost, but we all have setbacks in our lives.
