The Doctor from Doctor Who "The Big Bang"
Since our lives are so short, the only way we can
become immortal is by the legacy, or story that we leave behind. In order to
make a difference in this enormous universe, we need our actions to be so
influential they are passed down from generation to generation. That is the
only way we can touch the people that come after us. In the show, The Doctor,
who has no home or family, is just a fleeting story that briefly passes through
people’s life. And because he chooses to do good deeds, his story becomes a ray
of hope for those who he touches.
