I Made My Own World

My father told me to be satisfied with my lot in life, that the world owed me nothing. So I made my own world.

I think that the universe does not owe us anything, but I think we can change our fate and make our own world. Or at least what we perceive as our own world. It may not make sense to others but it is home to us.
