When we think about what makes an individual a hero, I feel we expect them to have a perfect past and no flaws. However, I believe that a superhero, whether they have a cape or not, must have experienced pain and loss. These experiences help an individual feel determination, sympathy and wisdom; which makes a common individual a superhero.
