Santa Claus from The Librarians “And Santa’s Midnight
Run”
I think this message is an interesting interpretation
of the good and evil debate. Many people think that the choices we make are
direct indications of the type of person we are. If someone is morally good then
they will always choose to do the right thing. If they make bad choices then
that means they are permanently evil. The Santa Claus in this episode of “The
Librarians” is breaking down this black and white philosophy. His gift to the
world every Christmas showed that he still had hope for humanity. I like the
idea that a person always has the potential to do the right thing, no matter
what their choices have been in the past.
