Remus Lupin from "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part II"
I think this quote has a much needed lesson for
society now. Our society and it’s addiction to social media has created a phenomenon
in which an individual thinks they are successful based on the number of people
who view a page or click a “like” button. We have lost our realism and pride
based on a finished product that is done correctly. We no longer care if we are
accomplishing something based on genuine talents. All we care about is how many
people are looking at us. I always loved Lupin's character in the Harry Potter series because he was a man who didn't seek attention, but he gave good advice, in my opinion. He cared more about his impact rather than how many followers he had.
